Back to the Streets Back to the Streets Carnival comes to Norwich - you can be part of it!
Orishas Brazilian Dance Inspiring Brazilian choreographer and performer, Mariana Pinho, will be teaching traditional Brazilian dance every Saturday leading up to the parade. There are three workshops on each day to choose from.
Walk Tall - Stilt-Walking Workshops Get off the ground with experienced teacher and performer, Jess Morris. You will learn to walk on stilts with confidence and ease, including some tricks and choreography.
Cuban Dance British Salsa Champion and Director of the Cuban School of Arts, London, Damarys Farres, will be running a series of Cuban Dance workshops, supported by local promoters Chilli con Salsa.
Molly Dancing Molly Dancing is the dance of East Anglia! It is based on local folk-law and is traditionally performed by farm-workers on a day called Plough Monday.
Street Dancing Hip, hop and get funky with amazing performer and choreographer Stephen Knights! Learn some hot off the street moves, for the street and on the street!
Carnival Costume Workshop We are also running costume workshops outside of Norwich, in Diss, Loddon and Great Yarmouth, leading up to involvement in the parade.

A fantastic opportunity for young people (11 to 18 years) to get involved in singing in a group.

Raise Your Voice NORCA's Vocal Development Programme
East Anglian Singing Network Professional development and networking opportunities for singing facilitators, teachers and school teachers who use voice in their work.
Music Makers Is a two-year programme funded by Youth Music, aimed at engaging young people in a long-term involvement in making music.
Sure Futures Programmme Sure Futures
Arts-based activities for young people (11 to 16yrs), focussed on the wards of Mile Cross and Catton. Activities are free.
DJ Workshops After-school
Tuesdays in term-time, 4 to 6 pm, Phoenix Centre.
Sprowston High School Samba
Members of Sprowston High School can take part in the school samba band. Wednesdays in term-time, lunchtime (12.30 to 1.30pm)
